If you can’t manage the evening classes or if you don’t feel comfortable learning in a group, then perhaps private tuition works better. I have written 2 books (both for beginners) to help you get familiar with the basics.
Each of these books has been designed keeping practicality and usefulness in mind so that at the end of the courses you are feeling much better prepared to face those “challenges” awaiting in a Spanish speaking country.
Spanish For Beginners Level One and Level Two are both covered over a period of 12 weeks if taken together. If taken individually then just 6-weeks per level. The cost of each level is £170 p/p, paid before the beginning of the course.
One-off lessons are charged at £30.
My classes are practical (not academic). The classes are held in Linlithgow, at my place where there’s plenty of parking places at no cost.
Cancellations must be notified by email or text allowing at least 3 hours prior to the comence of the class, otherwise there will be a symbolic charge for failing to do so.
If this sounds good to you, get in touch, we can discuss further details.
I have learnt so much Spanish … handy phrases and more complex things. Wouldn’t miss a chance to learn even more. I love my lessons with you, Lila. You make learning Spanish fun and interesting/ Ann Doran, Stirling
Lila’s one-to-one Spanish lessons are professional, fun and enjoyable and most of the times I never noticed I was learning. It was really convenient. Lila has great teaching technique; when even I got confused or struggled there has always been a great explanation and the lessons always run at the pace that was the best for me. My daughter and I came to Lila to learn basic conversational and understanding of Spanish. We did 1-2-1 lessons and Lila was just amazing, her way of teaching makes it fun, and she is very patient and very passionate about her lessons. I am now going to join the group tuitions and my daughter is going to work in Majorca, we would highly recommend learning Spanish with Lila. Julie and Loni Risdon / Winchburgh
I signed up for the beginners course in Spanish with ‘Hello to Spanish’ I decided to take the one to one option rather than the class as I couldn’t make all the dates. I’m so pleased I did this as Lila was able to tailor the sessions to suit my requirements. We were able to go at a pace that suited me and concentrate on the areas relevant to me. I would highly recommend Lila and Hello to Spanish if you are thinking of learning Spanish for the first time. It’s not as scary as I thought and Lila makes you feel very comfortable. I will definitely be going back for more lessons before my next trip to Spain. Graham / Polmont
Greetings! I’d like to thank you Lila for your patience and good disposition during all my Spanish classes. You’ve helped me a lot! I’ve gained confidence to express myself and to speak more fluently. I’ll miss our classes, however with the tips you have been given me I’ll continue to grow for sure, a new life and family in Spain awaits! Sophia Shirley / Bo’ness
