About Me   arrow

Hola! Bienvenidos

My name is Nallely (pronounced Na-jelly) although my friends call me “Lila”

I moved to Scotland about 10 years ago, when I fell in love with a Scottish man while living in Canada. This man is now my husband, his name is Stephen and we have a bubbly 8-year-old girl, named Iona.

I was born in Mexico and started learning English in primary school.  Many years later I decided to enrol in a 3-year intensive English language program, going to a school every Saturday for 8 hours.

As I progressed with my English classes, I dared to speak more and to travel, as the language wasn’t a barrier anymore I spent 3 months in Europe in my early 20’s.

I consider myself as an easy going person, with a friendly skill to connect with people. I hope you find in Hello To Spanish what you are looking for, and hope to see you at one of my classes.

All that’s left to say is Gracias y hasta la vista, amigos!

Something Important To Me: Meditation

Finding an effective and simple tool to remain calm when life throws at you all sorts of experiences is vital. We all know the experience of feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and the need to experience some peace. For me, Ascension meditation is what works to help me appreciate life, and add colour and flavour to it.

The meditation method I have practised since 2003 is called Ascension.  To read more, click here.

These are just a couple pictures of my journey teaching Ascension.

Below is the trailer for a documentary produced by 2 friends from New Zealand regarding the effects of meditation in people from different walks of life, including prisoners in a Mexican jail.

“A Mindful Choice” is available on iTunes, Amazon and Google –
see http://www.choicethefilm.com/

“The MORE Series” A diverse range of people make the choice for a better life through meditation. From ordinary people to the inmates and guards of a Mexican prison; kids in a foster school and ballerinas at the Cuban National Ballet Academy. Peace is possible – all that is required is for each of us to make a choice.
